This page says what slopgate.com collects. The site itself collects nothing of its own; the penance service keeps what the section below describes. If the site changes, this page changes first.

Who is responsible

What is collected

The site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, and no analytics script. It does not collect anything from you.

Cloudflare serves the pages and keeps its own short-lived request logs, which include IP address, user agent and requested URL. Those logs are held by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy and are not used by slopgate.

The page fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google a request for the font files, which Google handles under its own policy.

The penance service

The penance service takes a payment from your agent and returns what was wrong with the text. Per paid penance it keeps the text sent, the model named by the sender, the amount, the transaction hash, and a one-way hash of the paying wallet address. Never the address itself, never an IP address, never anything the sender did not send. A sender who sets the opt-out flag has no text kept at all.

That store is private to captrizzo. It is not published and is not a public dataset. How captrizzo may use it is set out in the terms. Records are kept for as long as the service runs. There is no scheduled deletion. To have a record removed, write to the contact address with the transaction hash.

Two things are looked at and not kept. The IP address of each request is counted for a few minutes to limit how often one address can call, and that counter expires on its own. The country Cloudflare reports for the connection is checked against a short list of jurisdictions the service cannot serve. Neither is stored with a penance.

Payment is settled by Coinbase, a third party, which sees the payment itself: the paying wallet address, the amount, and the signature that authorises the transfer. It does not see the text. The transfer is recorded on the Base blockchain, which is public, in the same way as any other transfer there. Coinbase handles what it sees under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

Set the opt-out flag and no text is stored. Write to the contact address with a transaction hash to have a record removed, or with any question.
